Just one question... In the 2nd video where the guy was using a Porsche steering wheel, does this mean the game can now be used with a few different aftermarket steering wheels? For one thing a G25 Logitech for most of us out there who can't afford the Porsche?
Can someone please confirm this...
P.S. 'cause I really hate the XBox360 wheel - it is crap.
If you look closely... the tire tracks are way too wide when compared to the tires on the cars, nonetheless it is a clear progression from previous game.
Mr. Yamauchi-san says he can release GT5 now but just wants to make sure everything is done perfectly and done in detail... we respect that and maybe what a good marketing strategy is to release on the same date a GT5 "demo-version" that would coincide with Forza 3. - Just to keep them honest.
At least release a demo mr. yamauchi-san/sony/polyphony we desperately need a hit...
Yes Yamauchi-san has confirmed damage-mode, hope he adds weather effect on his next interview...
...in the future, wish that more concept cars ( Mazda Furai, Lamborghini Estoque )/race/rallye cars ( Audi S1, Lancia Delta S4 ) and tracks ( Monaco, San Remo ) will be able to download.
It's like comparing a true apple - ( GT5 ) to a plastic apple - ( Forza3 )... and remember what they said way back before that Forza3 will be more arcade style.
All the more reason that some gutsy developer out there whose got the conviction to release a game that actually includes nudity in the actual game-play so as to stop all these frustrated sex-depraved game whingers' out there.
Still waiting for them to post download content for damage sim for Prologue before end of it's life cycle...
... also for confirmation about inclusion of weather effects when full version GT5 comes-out, wish they could get copyright to include Bugatti Veyron and a few concept cars like maybe LeMans Mazda Furai etc. plus a lot of race/dirt,gravel/snow tracks.
Don't believe they can stop this.
There are ton of these games available all over there ( but sold in the adult section of course ) when I last had a visit in Osaka.
Honestly when you're over there it's no big deal, it's a simulated fetish "game" for those who are into this type same as when you're into GTA type of "games"...
Sure it ain't ethical to rape as it is to kill, but I believe no gamer has ever thought or even planned about doing these horrible actions for real.
When playing with Prologue, am still astounded by how rich and vivid the colors are and actual race gameplay behaves. I do like to know when those downloadable crumple sim will be added and maybe a track or two might be added... as for full game GT5 if weather sim will be confirmed plus host of cars/concepts and tracks., hope they get the rights to put the Veyron and possibly LeMans concept Furai in the game and then some...
Was looking at some actual game-play at youtube and must say quite highly rated ( though most of those who were having a go are'nt all that good to watch ).
I do like the variety of in-game camera angles, cars bodies getting crumpled and the sheer amount of speed on those video footages.
Might get this on the PS3 as this would work very well with my G25 wheel.
This is nudity that's not necessarily needed in the game...what I would really like to see is some developer who's got the guts to actually make a game with nudity involved in the actual game-play and have this game available globally.
Digital download would only prosper if governments ( like here in Australia ) would quickly do something about a speedier broadband infrastructure.
Blu-Ray discs are quite good it's just that retail shop prices are still quite high, I'd rather go to a lot of second hand shops over here and buy the same title at almost 40% marked-off., as for BD players prices have greatly been reduced, but I still don't get it that the PS3/BD console has'nt...
It's not in the same theme and spirit as previous game so why did have to flog Colin McRae's name all over it?, I think that's pretty disrespectful of the developers ( ... and to those who still think it's a tribute - you're all wrong, think about it loud and clear )
That's made in China... if Sony were to build a slimline version of PS3, chances are it will be more prone to heat and a few parts could be inferior than original.
A friend of mine who's really good with computers told me once not to get the slimline PS2, because it's got inferior parts plus it heats up more ( reason everything's compacted ), so I think new slimline PS3 will have the same problem if Sony does build this thing...
Tops! best in-game sample I'ved seen, the set-up is truly heroic. Played the first Uncharted for a few times but this one is looking like an epic gameplay.
True points... but in the end "everybody" want the best of everything, especially with gaming is graphics along with the best possible way to make anyone "relate" to every game experience.
Which is why the complaints/arguments/haters amongst gamers' are going to continue unless graphics has reached hyper-realistic proportions...
... the feel of every game is always going to be based on life experience but getting the graphics to match or even outdo &quo...
Got nothing against this, it will have a big use and advantage on some games of course.
And I like variety.
